The College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra is holding awareness events on the occasion of the National Day of the Holy Quran (27 Rajab) about Quranic meanings and their impact on self-development

Under the supervision of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, and the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Nawras Abdul Ghani Abdul Zahra, the Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit and the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Marine Sciences, University of Basra, organized awareness activities to celebrate the National Day of the Holy Quran (the Day of the Prophet's Mission, 27th of Rajab).

The activities included a range of educational and motivational events, most notably the distribution of posters and brochures, the participation of students from the applied and natural sciences departments in reciting verses from the Holy Quran, and the preparation of a report entitled "The Voice of Heaven: Reflections on the Verses of the Holy Quran." These activities aimed to enhance awareness of the values ​​of the Holy Quran and its role in the lives of individuals and communities.

This occasion provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of Quranic texts and reflect on their meanings, reflecting the college's commitment to supporting Islamic culture

and promoting human values ​​through education and knowledge.
