The Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, conducted an inspection tour of the college's Follow-up Division and several administrative and academic departments on March 24, 2026, to review the work processes and monitor the progress of daily procedures and tasks.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the work mechanisms employed in the various departments and the obstacles hindering their operations. He emphasized the importance of adhering to regulations and instructions to improve performance and provide the best possible services.
The Dean highlighted the crucial role of the administrative and academic departments in supporting the educational and administrative processes within the college. He stressed the need to foster a spirit of cooperation and teamwork to enhance institutional performance. He noted that faculty members are the backbone of the educational process, contributing their expertise, developing curricula, and conducting scientific research. He emphasized the necessity of providing them with a suitable work environment that supports innovation and development. Students, he affirmed, are the focus of the educational process, and the Dean was keen to listen to their needs and suggestions and work to overcome any obstacles they face in order to provide stimulating educational and research conditions that enable them to excel, innovate, and actively contribute to serving the community.
