On Thursday morning, July 30, 2026, the Department of Natural Marine Sciences at the College of Marine Sciences held a session to discuss the research plan of graduate student Haider Nouri Nasser, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamed Taleb Al-Saad.

The student presented a scientific overview of his research project's objectives. The session included scientific discussions by a committee chaired by Dr. Emad Jassim Mohammed, with members Dr. Zuhair Abdul-Nabi and Dr. Amal Ahmed Mahmoud.

The project was approved after considering the committee's feedback and revisions to ensure it aligns with the College of Marine Sciences' objectives.
