The Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Professor Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, and his two assistants, Professor Dr. Nawras Abdul Ghani Abdul Zahra and Professor Dr. Abdul Hussein Hatem Ghazi, received certificates of appreciation from Al-Kunuz University. The honorees also included Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Mahdi Saleh, Assistant Professor Dr. Nadia Ali Hussein, Director of the Quality Assurance Division Dr. Imad Mohammed Jassim, and the Secretary of the College Council and Head of the Women's Affairs Unit, Dr. Kadhimiya Jawad Abdullah. Assistant Lecturer Azhar Kamel, Head of the Documents Unit, and Legal Advisor Ali Jawda were also recognized.

This recognition was in appreciation of their distinguished presence and active participation in the International Forum organized by Al-Kunuz University, entitled: "Imam Hussein (peace be upon him): A Project for Reforming and Building the Nation," held under the slogan: "From Karbala spring the values ​​of moral, intellectual, social, and human awareness."
